Limassol (Cyprus), September 3, 2009 – ASBIS, an expert in the distribution of Information Technology products to the EMEA emerging markets, has been appointed Apple Value Added Distributor (VAD) status in Georgia and 9 CIS countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan).

ASBIS will provide an extended range of value added services, develop routes-to-market, perform demand generation activities, develop the Apple Reseller and Retailer channels, complete channel authorization certification, improve warranty and post-warranty offerings and authorise and develop the Apple Authorised Service Providers network in CIS states.
